  • Paint damage or poor-quality resprays are not covered under PPF failure claims.

🛡️ Warranty Details – Barricade PPF & Ceramic Coating

At Under The Hood, we proudly provide a 5-year warranty on EXO PPF and a 7-year warranty on APEX PPF. Each installation is backed by a physical invoice and a digital record under your vehicle registration number.

✅ What’s Covered:

  • Cracking or peeling of the film due to installation defect
  • Loss of adhesion or bubbling under normal conditions
  • Fading or surface dullness due to UV exposure (to a reasonable extent)
  • Free fire/scratch test demo (see demo)

🚫 Not Covered:

  • Yellowing of the film — no PPF brand in the world is completely immune over time
  • Accidental damage, road debris, or external impact
  • Swirl marks due to dry wiping or improper washing
  • Water spots due to hard water — always use soft water for maintenance
  • Delamination due to unauthorized product layering or heat exposure

🧼 Maintenance Tips:

  • Never wipe the surface dry – always rinse with water first
  • Wash only with pH neutral shampoos
  • Avoid local detailing studios that apply wax or coating over PPF without approval
  • For best gloss and durability, follow up with annual top coating (optional)
