The Royal Enfield 1120018/B Rear Shock Absorber is the genuine OEM rear suspension unit used on Classic 500 Euro IV / BS4 (including Stealth Black & Disc/ABS variants) and widely across Classic 350 BS4 rear-disc / ABS models.
European parts microfiche for the Classic 500 Euro IV clearly lists 1120018/A rear shock absorber, with the note “1120018/A may be alternated with 1120018/B,
These gas-charged units with black body and caps are tuned to handle the extra weight of the Classic’s chassis while giving better damping control compared to generic aftermarket shocks. They maintain the bike’s original ride height and geometry, making them ideal for restoration, accident repair, or upgrading worn-out stock shocks without changing the look or handling of your Classic.
🔧 Note: Sold per piece. The motorcycle uses 2 rear shocks – order quantity 2 for a full pair.

FAQs
Q1. Is 1120018/B sold as a pair or single piece?
It is sold per piece. The Classic uses two identical shocks at the rear. For a complete replacement you’ll need to order 2 x 1120018/B.
Q2. What’s the difference between 1120018/A and 1120018/B?
Factory documentation for Classic 500 Euro IV states that 1120018/A may be alternated with 1120018/B, meaning both are equivalent for those models. 1120018/B is generally the later / updated revision.
Q3. Will these fit a Classic 350 Reborn (J-Series) or Meteor 350?
You can fit them to J SERIES METEOR AND REBORN (AS AN UPGRADE )BUT THEY HAVE DIFFERENT PART NUMBERS FROM FACTORY.
Q4. Do I need any extra bushes or bolts?
Original mounting hardware can usually be reused if undamaged. If your bolts or bushings are rusted or worn, it’s a good idea to replace them during installation (we stock the required fasteners separately).
Q5. Is this better than aftermarket gas shocks?
Aftermarket shocks may change ride height or stiffness. 1120018/B keeps stock height, look and tuning, which is ideal if you want OEM comfort and predictable handling rather than experimenting with geometry.
