This complete EFI→Carb conversion kit replaces the electronic fuel-injection on the Classic 500 EFI with a factory-spec carbureted system using 100% genuine Royal Enfield / OE-grade components. Most kits are partial or piggyback (retain EFI electronics or skip charging/ignition). We provide a complete, all-OE pathway—including magneto, TCI/CDI, loom and petcock—so workshops don’t need to source extras.
Q2. Will performance improve?
With correct jetting and a healthy engine, throttle feel can be more “analog,” and dyno gains are reported by Amal/aftermarket vendors; results vary with altitude/exhaust/airbox.
Q3. Is this street-legal?
Depends on your region. Converting EFI to carb can violate emissions/registration rules. Buyer is responsible for compliance.
Q4. Can I revert to EFI later?
Yes. No chassis cuts; keep your EFI hardware.
Q5. Do I need a new wiring harness?
Complete wiring harness ignition coil and cdi is there in the kit.
