Installation Note
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The clutch cover must be removed and the complete clutch stack inspected before deciding which parts require replacement.
During installation:
- Compare every removed friction disc and steel plate with the correct replacement
- Maintain the specified clutch-plate order and orientation
- Inspect steel plates for warping, heat spots and scoring
- Inspect clutch springs, pressure plate, centre, outer basket and lifter mechanism
- Check clutch-cable condition and free-play adjustment
