Installation Note
Professional clutch installation is strongly recommended. Before assembly, inspect the steel clutch plates for warping or heat marks, the clutch outer and centre for notching, clutch springs for free-length variation, the pressure plate, release mechanism, clutch cable, bearing and engine-oil condition.
Soak new friction discs in the manufacturer-recommended motorcycle engine oil before installation where required by the workshop procedure. Maintain the correct friction-disc and steel-plate order, including the correct position of the B-type friction disc and judder components. Tighten fasteners to prescribed torque and adjust clutch free play before riding.
