Maddog Delta sits right between Scout-X and Alpha/Rage – a compact, square 4-LED aux light that throws serious light without being overkill on smaller bikes. Each pair of Delta lights delivers 6400 raw lumens at 60W (30W each, DC 12V) using premium Nichia LEDs (Japanese tech) for stable output and long life.

The optics are tuned to a 70% spot / 30% flood combo beam, giving you a focused 250 m spot to read the road ahead plus a useful pool of light around the bike for lane and shoulder visibility. This makes Delta ideal for Royal Enfield tourers, Dominar/Xpulse riders, KTM/ADV owners and daily commuters who ride on unlit highways, village roads and twisty ghats.

A gloss-black aluminium housing, polycarbonate lens, IP67 water/dustproof rating and 3.6 A (pair) power draw mean Delta is engineered for harsh Indian conditions – monsoons, slush, dust and heat. Colour temperature is a rider-friendly 5000K–5700K warm white/yellow, which cuts through rain and dust better than blue-tinted LEDs while still looking modern.

With a rated life of up to 50,000 hours and an 18-month official warranty, Delta easily outperforms generic “cube lights” flooding the market. Under The Hood recommends pairing Maddog Delta with a proper relay harness and switch for an OEM-grade, reliable install.

Key Features:

  • 6400 raw lumens per pair at 60W (30W each, 12V DC) – powerful yet manageable for most bikes.

  • 4 x Nichia LEDs per light – automotive-grade Japanese LEDs for brightness, efficiency and long service life.

  • 70% spot / 30% flood combo beam – long 250 m spot with surrounding flood for lane edges and potholes.

  • IP67 water and dust protection with aluminium body and polycarbonate lens – built for heavy rain and off-road.

  • 5000K–5700K warm white/yellow colour temperature – better contrast in fog, rain and dusty conditions.

  • Current draw ~3.6 A per pair, suitable for most 12V motorcycle electrical systems when wired through a relay.

  • Rated lifespan up to 50,000 hours, minimizing failures and replacements.

  • 18-month official Maddog warranty – far better support than unbranded cube lights.

  • Compact square design – sits neatly on crash guards, fork clamps and aux brackets without looking bulky.

  • Universal 12V compatibility – can be fitted on Royal Enfield, KTM, Bajaj, Hero, TVS, Yamaha, Honda, BMW and more with suitable mounts.

Compatibility Table (Universal Auxiliary Light – 12V DC):

Maddog Delta is a universal auxiliary LED light. Fitment depends on space, mounting points and correct wiring. Always use a relay harness and professional installation for high-power aux lights.

FAQs:

Q1. How is Maddog Delta different from cheap cube lights?
Most generic cube lights have random beam patterns, unknown LEDs and no proper sealing or warranty. Maddog Delta uses Nichia LEDs, engineered 70% spot / 30% flood optics, IP67 sealing, rated 50,000-hour life and an 18-month official warranty, making it a long-term, serviceable upgrade instead of a gamble.

Q2. Will Maddog Delta fit my Royal Enfield / Dominar / Xpulse / KTM ADV?
Yes. Delta is a universal 12V auxiliary light and can be installed on most motorcycles with a safe mounting point on the crash guard, fork, or aux stay. You just need suitable clamps and a relay harness. For exact guidance, contact Under The Hood with your bike model.

Q3. Do I really need a wiring harness for Delta?
Yes. At 60W per pair, Delta should not be tapped directly into the stock headlight circuit. A dedicated relay-based harness with inline fuse ensures full brightness and protects your switches, ECU and wiring loom from overload.

Q4. Is Maddog Delta waterproof for monsoon and off-road rides?
Delta carries an IP67 water/dust rating and uses a sealed aluminium body, polycarbonate lens and stainless hardware. When installed correctly, it is suitable for heavy rain, slush and typical Indian off-road conditions.

Q5. What warranty do I get on Maddog Delta?
Maddog Delta comes with an 18-month official warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your Under The Hood invoice; in case of an issue, contact us with photos/video and we will coordinate with Maddog for inspection and claim processing.
