Rage draws 80W per pair (approx. 45W each) at 14.5V DC, with a carefully tuned hybrid 90% spot + 10% flood beam pattern. You get a razor-sharp spot beam that reaches up to 380 metres, plus a usable 180° low flood spread for close-range and peripheral visibility – perfect for fast highway touring and ADV use.

The lights sit inside a sleek gloss black aluminium housing with optical polycarbonate lens, stainless steel clamp and fasteners, rated IP67 dust/waterproof to handle rain, slush, river crossings and all-weather abuse in India. Colour temperature is a rider-friendly 5000–5700K warm white, which cuts through rain, fog and dust better than blue-tinted LEDs while still looking modern and premium.

Q1. Will Maddog Rage fit my Royal Enfield / Himalayan / KTM / other bike?
Yes, Rage is a universal 12V auxiliary light. It can be installed on most bikes (Royal Enfield, KTM, Bajaj, Hero, TVS, Yamaha, BMW, etc.) using suitable clamps or crash-guard mounts and a dedicated wiring harness. Fitment depends on space and mounting points – contact Under The Hood or your local installer to confirm.

Q2. Do I really need a separate wiring harness and relay?
Absolutely yes. Rage is a high-power light (80W per pair), so it should not be connected to the stock headlight circuit directly. A relay-based wiring harness with inline fuse protects your switchgear, battery and ECU, and ensures full brightness without voltage drop.

Q3. Are Maddog Rage lights waterproof and okay for monsoon/off-road?
Yes. Maddog Rage is rated IP67 water and dust proof and built with an aluminium body, polycarbonate lens and stainless hardware to handle rain, slush and typical Indian off-road conditions when installed correctly.

Q4. Will Rage blind oncoming traffic?
Any powerful aux light can cause glare if aimed badly. Always mount Rage below eye level, tilt slightly downwards and use responsibly (especially in city traffic). On highways, switch to high power only when safe and legal.
