FAQs

1. Will this Vertex Matte exhaust fit the new Himalayan 450 or Guerrilla 450?
No. Vertex Matte is engineered only for the Himalayan 411 and Scram 411. Himalayan 450/452 and Guerrilla 450 use different exhaust routing and need the Vertex Pro / Orion series instead.

2. Do I need an ECU remap after installing this exhaust?
RRP’s own FAQ states that a remap is not mandatory. Vertex is tuned to work safely with the stock map, though a remap or piggyback ECU can help extract the full benefit if you also change air filter or other performance parts.

3. Is the Vertex Matte exhaust street legal in India?
RRP clearly mentions that aftermarket exhausts are not officially street legal, but includes a DB-killer to keep sound reasonable. You should ride with the baffle installed on public roads and follow local RTO norms.

4. Will my bike’s mileage drop with this RRP exhaust?
