Silky-smooth FZ 25 power with zero chain drama. The Rolon NAR 306NF Noise-Free Chain & Sprocket Kit is a direct-fit upgrade for Yamaha FZ 25 and Fazer 25 owners who are tired of jerks, chain slap and premature rust. Built around Rolon’s R428NaR sealed solid-bush chain and hardened steel sprockets, this kit matches OEM geometry (15T front, 46T rear, 136-link chain) while dramatically improving refinement and service life.

Compared to a tired stock kit, you’ll feel crisper throttle response, smoother acceleration and a lot less noise from the swingarm – even with luggage and pillion. The sealed design keeps lubrication inside and dust out, ideal for Indian city traffic and highway touring.

At Under The Hood, every Rolon kit is sourced from authorised distributors only, checked against the NAR 306NF spec sheet and packed carefully to avoid transit damage. You also get real biker support from our Varanasi studio – from helping you confirm hub pattern and teeth to guiding you on chain slack and maintenance. Pair this kit with a good chain cleaner and fully synthetic lube from our Chain Kits & Maintenance range to get the best life from your upgrade.

If you want a genuine Rolon kit that fixes noisy, jerky drive and is ready for long FZ 25 rides, this is the one.

Key Features (6–12 bullets)

  • Genuine Rolon NAR 306NF noise-free chain & sprocket kit for Yamaha FZ 25 / Fazer 25 250cc.

  • R428NaR sealed solid-bush chain – 428 pitch, 136 links for ideal wheelbase and adjuster range.

  • OEM-equivalent gearing: 15T front sprocket, 46T rear sprocket, 6-hole rear hub pattern – maintains stock acceleration and cruising RPM.

  • “Noise Free” design reduces chain slap and vibration compared to worn open chains – smoother, more refined feel.

  • Sprockets made from high-carbon CRC steel, heat-treated and hand-finished for high strength and wear resistance.

  • Designed for the torque of Yamaha’s 249cc Blue Core engine – stable under city commuting, highway touring and occasional spirited runs.

  • Sealed construction keeps lubricant in and grit out, extending chain and sprocket life when maintained correctly.

  • Direct-fit kit – no extra spacers or modifications required on stock bikes with OE sprocket sizes.

  • Ideal replacement when you notice tight links, rust, squeaking, chain jumping on sprocket, or adjusters at end of travel.

  • 100% genuine Rolon – supplied and invoiced by Under The Hood with GST bill and safe packaging.

Compatibility Table

Make Model Engine / Gen Fuel / Emission Years* Notes

Yamaha Fazer 25 249 cc single, Fazer 25 Fuel Injected (Blue Core), BS4 & BS6 2017–onwards Uses same drivetrain as FZ 25; confirm rear sprocket 46T & 6-hole hub before purchase.

*Years are indicative; always confirm sprocket teeth (15/46) and 428-136L chain on modified/custom setups.

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • Recommended to replace the complete kit (chain + both sprockets) together for best life and smoothness.

  • Always align front and rear sprockets properly and torque all bolts to Yamaha spec.

  • Set chain slack as per Yamaha manual (typically ~20–30 mm vertical play at mid-span on centre stand – confirm for your bike).

  • Clean chain with kerosene or a quality chain cleaner and a soft brush; avoid petrol or harsh solvents that can damage seals.

  • Lubricate with a good motorcycle chain lube every 450–600 km, or sooner after heavy rain, off-road or spirited riding.

  • Inspect for tight links, excessive slack, shark-fin sprocket teeth or rust at every service; replace kit if any part is badly worn.

  • If unsure, you can get the kit installed at Under The Hood (Varanasi) or share photos/video of your current setup for remote guidance.

FAQs (Schema-Ready)

Q1. Will this Rolon NAR 306NF kit fit my Yamaha FZ 25 BS6?
Yes. If your FZ 25 uses the stock 428 chain with 15-tooth front and 46-tooth rear sprocket and 6-hole rear hub (most BS4 & BS6 bikes do), this kit is a direct fit. If your bike has aftermarket sprockets or custom wheels, please confirm teeth count and hub pattern before ordering.

Q2. Is this kit compatible with Yamaha Fazer 25 as well?
Multiple Rolon fitment charts and dealer listings show NAR 306NF for both FZ-25 and Fazer-25, which share the same 249 cc engine and drivetrain.
As long as your Fazer 25 retains the stock sprocket sizes and 428 chain, this kit will fit. Double-check rear sprocket teeth (46T) and mounting holes before purchase.

Q3. How is this better than my worn stock chain & sprockets?
The NAR 306NF uses a sealed solid-bush R428NaR chain and hardened CRC-steel sprockets. This reduces noise and vibration, offers smoother acceleration, and lasts longer when maintained correctly compared to a tired OE kit that has stretched or rusted.

Q4. Is this a genuine Rolon kit or a local duplicate?
Under The Hood sources NAR 306NF kits only from authorised Rolon distributors. Packaging, part number and chain stamping are verified before dispatch, and every order ships with a GST invoice so you can claim warranty support if there is any transit damage.

Q5. Do I need to change anything else when installing this kit?
We recommend inspecting and, if needed, replacing rear wheel dampers, chain sliders and sprocket-carrier rubbers at the same time. A fresh, correctly adjusted chain kit plus healthy dampers gives the best result in terms of smoothness and longevity.
