Want that crisp KTM snap and the orange race look? The Rolon HPXRO 379NF Orange Chain & Sprocket Kit is a premium upgrade kit engineered specifically for KTM Duke 200 and RC 200 (6-hole rear hub). It retains the stock 14T front / 42T rear gearing with a 520 heavy-series ‘X’-ring chain (110 links), so you get the factory-correct acceleration and top speed while upgrading durability, smoothness and styling.
Inner chain plates use black nickel plating, outer plates get orange powder coating – giving signature KTM looks plus better rust protection in Indian rain and traffic. The heavy-series solid-bush X-ring construction cuts friction, reduces stretch and keeps lubricant sealed in for longer chain life when maintained properly.
Buying from Under The Hood means you’re not just clicking “Add to Cart” – you’re buying from a real KTM-focused workshop. We install these kits on customer bikes, know the common chain issues (jerks, slap, uneven wear) and pack every kit with care. Pair HPXRO 379NF with our chain cleaner + chain lube combo and you’ve got a complete drivetrain upgrade for city, touring and spirited weekend rides.
If your Duke / RC 200 chain is noisy, rusty or needs constant adjustment – this is the good-looking, long-term fix.

Installation & Maintenance Notes
-
Professional fitment recommended – Use a mechanic familiar with KTM swingarm and chain adjuster design; incorrect torque or slack can damage hub and output shaft.
-
Always replace chain + both sprockets together – mixing new chain with old sprockets (or vice versa) will cause rapid wear and noise.
-
Adjust chain slack as per KTM manual for Duke/RC 200 (check owner’s manual – typically ~5–7 cm measured mid-span with bike on side stand).
-
After install, ride gently for the first 100–200 km; then re-check slack and fasteners.
-
Clean chain every 500–700 km, or sooner if riding in rain/mud; use a proper chain cleaner and soft brush, avoid petrol/diesel that can damage X-rings.
-
Lube the chain after each clean and after heavy rain; use a good quality motorcycle chain lube (you can link your own 500 ml chain lube & cleaner listing).
-
Replace the kit when you see hooked sprocket teeth, tight/stiff links or when the chain lifts away from the rear sprocket significantly at the back.
FAQs
Q1. Will Rolon HPXRO 379NF fit my KTM Duke 200 BS6?
A. Yes, as long as your Duke 200 uses the standard 14T/42T sprockets, 520 x 110 chain and 6-hole rear sprocket carrier. All major sellers and Rolon list HPXRO 379NF specifically for Duke 200 / RC 200 with that hub pattern. We still recommend visually confirming your sprocket and hub before ordering.
Q2. Does this kit change performance compared to stock?
A. No gearing change – it keeps the OEM 14/42 ratio with a 110-link chain, so you retain factory acceleration and top speed. What you do feel is smoother drive, less chain slap and a more refined feel if your old chain kit was worn.
Q3. Is this an original Rolon product or a local orange chain?
A. This is the genuine Rolon HPXRO 379NF premium kit – the same one listed on.
Q4. What’s the advantage of orange X-ring kit over a normal steel chain kit?
A. Functionally, the heavy-series X-ring chain offers better sealing, lower friction and usually longer service life than basic roller chains, when maintained properly. Visually, the orange + black-nickel finish matches KTM’s styling and makes the bike stand out. If you want both performance and looks, HPXRO 379NF is the right choice.
Q5. Do I need to buy anything else along with this kit?
A. At minimum, we strongly recommend:
-
A good chain cleaner,
-
A quality chain lube,
-
And checking rear hub dampers (cush rubbers) for play.
You can buy our chain cleaner + chain lube combo and, if you’re in or around Varanasi, you can also book an appointment to get the kit installed at our studio.
