Installation & Maintenance Notes

• Always replace chain and both sprockets together to avoid accelerated wear on new parts.

• After installing, set chain free play to 30–40 mm as per Apache RR 310 service documentation and tighten the rear axle & adjuster lock nuts to spec.

• Use a paddock stand or centre lift for final alignment; ensure both swingarm marks are equal to keep the rear wheel straight.

• Clean with kerosene or a good chain cleaner and then apply a quality chain lube every 450–600 km, or more often in rain/off-road conditions.

• Avoid pressure-washing the chain up close; it can push water past the X-rings and shorten chain life.

• After the first 200–300 km on a new kit, re-check slack and adjust once the chain beds in.

A. Because NXR 264 keeps the stock 17T/42T gearing, your RR 310’s top speed and cruising RPM remain essentially the same. Any mileage change will mainly depend on riding style, chain maintenance and tyre condition rather than this kit.
