The Royal Enfield 1100712/E Front Disc Plate is the genuine front brake rotor for the J-Series 350 family – factory used across Meteor 350, Classic 350 Reborn and Hunter 350. European and Indian parts sellers list 1100712/E as a front disc plate for New Classic Reborn 350 and Meteor 350, while J-platform accessory sites and EU dealers sell it as a front brake disc for Meteor / Classic / Hunter 350.

This rotor works with the OEM caliper and pad set (e.g. RAB00232 front pads) used on the 350 J-platform.

Over time, a front disc can wear below thickness limit, develop grooves or warp, causing vibration, reduced bite or longer stopping distances. Replacing it with a brand-new genuine 1100712/E restores smooth, predictable braking and keeps your ABS working the way Royal Enfield designed it.

Unlike generic rotors, this disc plate matches exact bolt pattern, offset and diameter for Meteor, Classic Reborn and Hunter 350, so it mounts straight onto the OE hub with no spacers or modifications. If you ride hard, tour with luggage or simply want OEM safety instead of local jugaad, this is the correct front brake disc for your J-Series 350.

Key Features

  • Genuine Royal Enfield front disc plate – Part No. 1100712/E, latest revision of the J-Series 350 front rotor.

  • OEM fitment for Meteor 350 & Classic 350 Reborn, with multiple sellers and fitment tools confirming usage on these models.

  • Also used on Hunter 350 – EU dealers and UK e-tailers describe 1100712/E as front brake disc for Meteor / Classic / Hunter 350.

  • Engineered for the 350 J-Platform – shares geometry with discs referenced by Hitchcocks as “replacement for 1100712 + RAB00232”.

  • Precision-machined, drilled rotor for consistent braking performance and better heat dissipation under repeated stops.

  • Direct bolt-on replacement – correct PCD, centre bore and thickness for OEM hub and caliper; no shims, spacers or custom brackets needed.

  • ABS-compatible – retains factory braking feel and sensor ring alignment when installed correctly.

  • Safer than cheap aftermarket discs – made to Royal Enfield’s metallurgy and run-out tolerances to minimise judder and uneven pad wear.

  • Ideal when your old disc is scored, warped, rust-pitted or below minimum thickness.

FAQs

Q1. Will this disc fit my Hunter 350?
Yes. EU and UK parts retailers specifically list 1100712/E as the front brake disc for Meteor / Classic / Hunter 350, and Hitchcocks describe their 350 J-platform disc as a replacement for 1100712.

Q2. Can I use this on Bullet 350 BS6 (J-Series)?
Many Indian sellers advertise 1100712/D as front disc for Bullet 350 J-Series, but Royal Enfield’s own documentation is less explicit. To avoid wrong orders, Under The Hood recommends checking with your RE dealer using your VIN before fitting this disc on Bullet 350 J.

Q3. When should I replace my front disc plate?
Replace the disc if it is below minimum thickness, badly scored/grooved, warped (you feel pulsing at the lever), or cracked/overheated. Always inspect along with pads and caliper.

Q4. Do I need to change brake pads when changing the disc?
Best practice is to fit new pads (e.g. OEM set RAB00232 for J-Series 350) when installing a new disc to ensure proper bedding-in and avoid noise or premature wear.

Q5. Is this rotor floating or solid?
The OEM J-Series 350 disc is a single-piece drilled rotor made to Royal Enfield spec. It’s not an aftermarket race ‘wave’ or floating disc; it’s tuned for everyday Indian road conditions and ABS calibration.
