Royal Enfield 148209/D – RUBBER, TAIL LAMP is the genuine tail lamp mounting rubber / silenbloc used on the rear mudguard assemblies of the 650 Twins – Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. European microfiche for both Continental GT 650 Euro 4 and Interceptor 650 rear mudguard list 148209/D in the rear bodywork / “garde boue arrière” exploded view as the rubber that sits between the tail lamp bracket and the rear mudguard.

Official price lists and dealer catalogs describe it simply as “RUBBER, TAIL LAMP” with HSN 40169990 (other vulcanised rubber articles), while older part 148209/A is explicitly superseded by 148209/D, making this the current production-spec part.

In real-world use, this silenbloc isolates the rear light from vibration, cushions the tail lamp bracket, and helps keep the mounting plane aligned so the lamp doesn’t crack or loosen over time.
