The Royal Enfield 570409/F Clutch Cable is the genuine OEM replacement cable used across the Thunderbird UCE platform, including Thunderbird 350 BS3/BS4, Thunderbird 350X ABS and Thunderbird 500. ONLY FOR CARBURETTOR MODEL Official Royal Enfield microfiche lists 570409/F as the current clutch cable assembly for Thunderbird 350 & 500, superseding the older 570409/E part number.

Built to Royal Enfield’s specifications, this OEM cable features a robust PVC outer sheath for flexibility and weather resistance, with a pre-stretched inner wire and nylon-lined housing for smooth, low-friction clutch operation and better lever feel.  Correct cable length and end fittings ensure proper routing on Thunderbird’s raised handlebars and cruiser ergonomics, minimising chances of snagging, fraying or premature failure.

If your clutch feels heavy, notchy or the bike struggles to disengage gears, replacing a stretched/old cable with this original 570409/F assembly restores crisp engagement and protects your clutch plates. This part is ideal for regular maintenance, clutch overhauls, or preventive replacement before long rides or touring.

Some sellers also list 570409/F for Classic 500 and certain UCE Classic/Electra/Standard 350 models; however, these applications should be physically cross-checked with your old cable length and routing before purchase (see compatibility table).

3. Can I use 570409/F on my Classic 350 or Bullet 350 UCE?
