The genuine Royal Enfield 594002/B – VT31 Cover, Fuel Tap is the small but important rubber/plastic protector that sits over the fuel tap / fuel cock area to keep it safe from dust, splash and road grime. Most Thunderbird and Classic owners lose or tear this cap during tank removal or repeated fuel-tap use – and then the tap is left exposed to water, mud and polish. This OE cap restores the bike to factory finish and protects the tap body just like the original.

1. What exactly does 594002/B do?
It’s the protective cap that slips over the manual fuel tap/petcock to keep mud, dust and wash water away from the tap body and to give a finished OE look.

3. Will it fit my Classic Reborn / Hunter / Meteor?
No – those EFI J-Series bikes don’t use this style external tap.

4. Why are some sites showing Classic 350 and Thunderbird?
Because Royal Enfield reused this same cap across several UCE models that have the same VT31-style fuel tap – hence our wider compatibility above. BUT CHECK PART NUMBER BEFORE ORDERING
