This is the officially listed Royal Enfield 594298 – SEAT ASSY PILLION NT (also supplied as 594298/A and 594298/B in later dealer stock). Multiple RE parts sites map it straight to the Thunderbird 350 NTB, Thunderbird 500 NTB 

It’s the complete rear / passenger seat made to match the NT-style Thunderbird bodywork — correct base, correct foam height and the same black cover pattern you see on the OE seat. Because it’s OEM, the mounting points line up with the TB/Rumbler rear frame, so the seat locks down without wobble and sits flush against the rider seat. Perfect when the old pillion seat is torn, sun-baked, out of shape or missing on a rebuild. Later suffixes (/A → /B) are just running updates from RE; function and fit stay the same.

Yes. This listing is for the pillion seat assembly (rear) only, not the rider seat.

Q2. Will this fit Thunderbird X (TBX)?
Not in the sources we checked — TBX uses a different seat profile. Keep 594298 for NTB/Rumbler only. 

Q3. What’s the difference between 594298, 594298/A and 594298/B?
They’re successive Royal Enfield supply versions of the same pillion seat. If your invoice says 594298/B, you can still sell/ship it under this listing. 

Q4. Does it come with the seat lock?
Usually seat only. If your old lock/latch is broken, add 594106 from the same NT seat group. 

Q5. My current seat sits slanted — will this fix it?
As long as the subframe and lock bracket are straight, an OE seat like 594298 will sit flush. Bent brackets must be straightened first.
