Royal Enfield part 805019 – Guard-Silencer (Heat Resistant, Black) is the factory-fitted exhaust shield used on the Thunderbird X 350 & Thunderbird X 500 BS4. Royal Enfield’s own parts documents list 805019 as the genuine “GUARD-SILENCER – HEAT RESISTANT – BLACK” and show it installed on the Thunderbird X exhaust assembly alongside silencer 805018/805023 and exhaust pipe 805017.
This guard mounts on the outer side of the silencer and protects the rider’s leg, baggage and clothing from direct exhaust heat while also shielding the painted muffler body from minor scrapes. The OE heat-resistant black finish matches the stock TBX and Classic ABS exhausts and keeps the bike looking original even after a replacement.
Because this is genuine Royal Enfield stock, the mounting holes align perfectly with the factory silencer and exhaust pipe brackets—no bending or drilling required. It is designed for stock UCE BS4 silencer assemblies only; it is not recommended for aftermarket or free-flow exhausts, and it does not fit J-Series bikes (New Classic Reborn, Hunter, Meteor, Bullet J) or older cast-iron models.
Ideal for accident repair, restoring a crashed Thunderbird X, or replacing a rusted / bent guard on a Classic 350 ABS while keeping the bike 100% OEM.

FAQs
Q1. Will this 805019 silencer guard fit my new Classic 350 Reborn (J-Series)?
A: No. Part 805019 is for UCE BS4 models only – Classic 350 ABS (older UCE engine) and Thunderbird X 350 / 500. It does not fit the new J-Series Classic, Hunter, Meteor or Bullet.
Q2. Can I use 805019 with an aftermarket free-flow silencer?
A: It’s designed around the OEM TBX / Classic ABS silencer and exhaust pipe. Some custom silencers will not have the correct mounting bosses. For best fit and safety we recommend using it only with genuine Royal Enfield exhausts.
Q3. Are mounting screws and brackets included in this part number?
A: Royal Enfield microfiche lists the guard (805019), exhaust guard (805020), clamp (805021) and Philips screws 147896/A as separate part numbers. In most cases this guard is supplied without bolts – reuse your original hardware or purchase replacement screws if your old ones are damaged.
Q4. Does this guard reduce exhaust performance or sound?
A: No. It is only a heat shield/leg guard mounted outside the silencer and does not alter internal gas flow, back-pressure or sound levels.
Q5. How can I confirm fitment for my bike before ordering?
A: Match your bike model against the compatibility table, then confirm using your local RE dealer or by checking your existing guard for the 805019 stamping / label. When in doubt, contact Under The Hood with your VIN and model year before purchasing.
