Restore precise rear-brake control with the genuine Royal Enfield Brake Pedal Assembly – Right-Hand (Part No. 587017). This OEM lever mounts on the frame’s RH side and actuates the rear brake master cylinder/rod on Himalayan 411 (carb/EFI, Euro IV–V, up to MY2023) and Scram 411. Factory geometry, spline, and stop-tab alignment ensure correct pedal height and free play, while the forged/pressed construction resists bending during off-road use. Unlike aftermarket copies, the OE pedal keeps stock clearances with footpeg bracket, brake-light switch, and return spring—helping you avoid drag, poor modulation, or fouling with boots/crash bars.

Royal Enfield’s official microfiche lists the part as “Brake Pedal Assy / Brake Pedal Comp – RH” with 587017/E superseded by 587017/G; dealers list the same part across Himalayan 411 and Scram 411. This listing is not for Himalayan 450/Guerrilla 450. If your VIN/model year is 2016–2023 Himalayan 411 or any Scram 411, this is the correct OEM pedal. Always compare your old lever for bends and check the return spring/brake-light switch after installation for safe operation.

FAQs

Q1. Is 587017/E the same as 587017/G?
Yes.

Q2. Will this fit the Himalayan 450 or Guerrilla 450?
No. Those use a different chassis/lever. This pedal is for LS410 (411cc) Himalayan/Scram only.

Q3. What hardware is included?
This is the pedal assembly only. Reuse or replace hardware (pivot bolt, bush, return spring, brake-light switch spring) as per your service manual. Dealer pages list the assembly without additional hardware.

Q4. My pedal is bent after a drop—can I straighten it?
Not recommended. Bending can cause cracks/misalignment. Replace with this OEM unit for proper geometry and safety.

Q5. How do I set pedal height/free play?
After installation, adjust the pushrod and check brake-light switch actuation. Ensure the pedal returns freely and the wheel spins without drag.
