Royal Enfield KXA00065 Black Low Ride Rider Seat for Meteor 350
Get a more accessible rider seating position without moving away from Royal Enfield's factory-style design. The genuine Royal Enfield KXA00065 Black Low Ride Rider Seat is made specifically for the Meteor 350 MY20 onward. It replaces the motorcycle's original front rider seat and reduces the rider seat height by 11 mm.
The lower profile can make ground reach easier for riders who want a little less height at the front seating position. Inside the seat, Royal Enfield uses 3D net technology to distribute the rider's weight more evenly and support comfort over longer journeys. The black finish, rear Royal Enfield tag and original-equipment-inspired styling help it look at home on the Meteor 350.
Important: this product is one front/rider seat only. It is not a passenger seat, it does not lower the motorcycle's suspension, and it is not the Touring Rider Seat. Confirm the model and part number before ordering.
What This Product Is
KXA00065 is Royal Enfield's genuine black Low Ride Rider Seat for the Meteor 350. It is a direct replacement for the stock rider seat on compatible Meteor 350 motorcycles. Its purpose is to provide an 11 mm reduction in rider seat height while retaining a factory-coordinated appearance.
This is a model-specific accessory rather than a universal seat. Royal Enfield identifies its application as Meteor 350cc MY20 onward. It uses the motorcycle's retained mounting components during installation, so the original passenger seat and fasteners must be removed carefully and kept for refitting.

Confirmed Compatibility
| Motorcycle | Model generation / year guidance | Fitment |
|---|---|---|
| Royal Enfield Meteor 350 | MY20 onward | Confirmed |
Compatibility is limited to the Meteor 350 application stated above. Colour or trim names such as Fireball, Stellar and Supernova do not replace the need to confirm that the motorcycle is a Meteor 350 MY20-onward model.
Fitment Note / Return Prevention
Please compare all three points before ordering: part number KXA00065, black colour, and Meteor 350 MY20 onward. Do not select this item only because another Royal Enfield model has a visually similar split-seat layout.
- Not listed for the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, Himalayan, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650.
- This is the rider/front seat only; a passenger/pillion seat is not included.
- This is the Low Ride version with an 11 mm reduction; it is different from the Touring Rider Seat.
- The black Low Ride Rider Seat is KXA00065. The brown Low Ride Rider Seat is a different part number, KXA00066.
- The listed reduction applies to the rider seat, not to suspension height or overall motorcycle ground clearance.
For fitment support, share a clear photo of the motorcycle, the model year, and the VIN/chassis details before installation. Do not force the seat or alter its brackets. A seat that does not locate naturally on the front fuel-tank tab and rear mounting points should be removed and checked before any fasteners are tightened.
Returns: record a clear, continuous unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery. The video should show the sealed package, shipping label, full opening process, product, part-number label and any visible issue. Installed, used, marked, modified, soiled or damaged parts may not qualify for return. Keep all genuine packaging, labels and protective material until fitment is confirmed.

Installation Note
Royal Enfield lists a 10-minute fitting time. Installation requires access to the rider-seat fasteners, so the original passenger seat is removed first. Support the motorcycle securely and protect painted surfaces before starting.
- Remove the left and right front grab-rail cap-head bolts using a suitable 6 mm hex tool. Retain both bolts.
- Lift the front of the passenger seat, unhook it from the frame, remove the left and right top-hat inserts, and retain them.
- Remove the two rear rider-seat hex-flange bolts and the two sleeves/top-hat inserts with a suitable 10 mm socket. Retain all components.
- Lift the original rider seat from the rear and pull it rearward to release it.
- Engage the front of the KXA00065 seat on the fuel-tank tab, align the rear mounting points, and refit the retained rider-seat inserts.
- Refit the two original rider-seat bolts and tighten each to 12 Nm.
- Refit the retained inserts to the passenger seat, hook the passenger seat back into the frame and align the front mounting holes.
- Refit the original passenger-seat / grab-rail cap-head bolts and tighten each to 25 Nm.
Use a calibrated torque wrench and the correct tools. Check that both seats are fully located, secure and free from movement before riding. If any fixing, insert or mounting point is damaged or missing, stop and have the installation completed by an authorised Royal Enfield technician.
Buyer-Focused FAQs
1. Is KXA00065 a genuine Royal Enfield part?
Yes. KXA00065 is the official Royal Enfield part number for the Black Low Ride Rider Seat listed for the Meteor 350.
2. Which motorcycle does this seat fit?
It is confirmed for the Royal Enfield Meteor 350cc MY20 onward. It should not be treated as a universal Royal Enfield seat.
3. Does it fit every Meteor 350 colour variant?
The fitment is specified by model and generation: Meteor 350 MY20 onward. Trim or paint colour does not change the seat's black colour, so confirm that black matches the desired appearance.
4. Does it fit the Super Meteor 650?
No. The Super Meteor 650 is a different motorcycle platform and is not included in the confirmed KXA00065 application.
5. How much lower is this seat?
Royal Enfield specifies an 11 mm reduction in rider seat height compared with the standard rider seat.
6. Will it lower the entire motorcycle?
No. It changes the rider seating surface only. It does not alter the suspension, wheel size or motorcycle ground clearance.
7. Does an 11 mm reduction guarantee that both feet will be flat?
No. Ground reach also depends on rider inseam, footwear, body position and motorcycle setup. The 11 mm specification describes the seat change, not a guaranteed rider outcome.
8. Is this the rider seat or passenger seat?
It is the front rider seat. It does not replace the rear passenger or pillion seat.
9. Is the passenger seat included?
No. The package contains one KXA00065 Low Ride Rider Seat only. The motorcycle's passenger seat is retained and refitted.
10. What colour is KXA00065?
KXA00065 is black. Buyers wanting the brown Low Ride Rider Seat should look for the separate KXA00066 part number.
11. What does 3D net technology do?
Royal Enfield describes it as distributing the rider's weight evenly to increase comfort over longer distances.
12. Is this the same as the Meteor 350 Touring Rider Seat?
No. This is the Low Ride Rider Seat focused on an 11 mm lower seating position. The Touring Rider Seat is a separate accessory and part number.
13. Does it retain a factory-style look?
Yes. Royal Enfield states that it is styled like the original-equipment seat and includes a Royal Enfield tag at the rear.
14. Are new bolts supplied?
The fitting procedure instructs the installer to retain and reuse the motorcycle's original rider-seat and passenger-seat mounting hardware. Do not discard those fasteners or inserts.
15. How long does installation take?
Royal Enfield lists an indicative fitting time of 10 minutes. Actual time can vary with tools, experience and the condition of the original fasteners.
16. What torque should be used for the rider-seat bolts?
The two rider-seat hex-flange bolts are tightened to 12 Nm according to the official fitting instruction.
17. What torque should be used when refitting the passenger seat?
The left and right passenger-seat / grab-rail cap-head bolts are tightened to 25 Nm.
18. Can I install it myself?
A competent owner with the correct tools and a calibrated torque wrench may follow the official procedure. If uncertain, use an authorised Royal Enfield workshop because incorrect seat installation can create an unsafe riding condition.
19. What warranty is listed for this accessory?
Royal Enfield lists a three-year warranty. Coverage and claim handling remain subject to the manufacturer's applicable market, purchase and installation terms.
20. What should I do before fitting in case a return is needed?
Verify the SKU, model, model year, colour and contents first. Make a continuous unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery and keep all packaging. Do not install, mark, modify or soil the seat until fitment has been confirmed.
Why Buy the Correct Seat by Part Number?
Seats can look similar in photographs while using different tabs, brackets, contours and mounting distances. Ordering by the exact part number helps prevent mismatched hardware, unstable mounting and avoidable return delays. KXA00065 identifies the black low-height rider seat for the Meteor 350 MY20-onward platform.
Before checkout, confirm whether the goal is a lower rider position or touring support. Choose KXA00065 when the requirement is the black Low Ride Rider Seat with the specified 11 mm reduction. Choose a separately listed Touring Rider Seat only when that different seat design is intended.
Care Guidance
Clean the seat with a soft damp cloth and a mild product suitable for motorcycle seating surfaces. Avoid harsh solvents, abrasive brushes, pressure-washer jets at seams, or tools that may damage the covering. Allow the seat to dry before covering or storing the motorcycle. Regularly check the mounting points and fasteners during routine maintenance.
