Installation Note

Support the motorcycle securely. From the underside of the existing rider seat, remove the two hex-flange bolts and washers and retain them. Lift the original rider seat from the rear, pull it rearwards and unhook it. Push the front of the KXA00070 seat onto the fuel-tank tab and ensure its steel inserts locate correctly in the supporting bracket's rubber mounts. Reinstall the two original bolts and washers into the threaded seat-base inserts and tighten them to 10 Nm.

After fitting, pull and press the seat gently to confirm it is securely located. Check clearance around the fuel tank, side panels and passenger seat. Do not ride if the seat rocks, fails to engage the front tab, has damaged inserts or does not align without force.
