On the throttle side, record the three switch-cube screw positions, disconnect the throttle cable from the old grip tube, fit the new right-hand grip, reconnect the cable and ensure the switch-cube alignment pin seats correctly. Tighten the switch-cube fixings to 1.75 Nm and the supplied M6 bar-end bolts to 10 Nm. Reconnect the battery and verify smooth throttle action, positive snap-back, unobstructed steering and secure grips before riding.
