Royal Enfield Silver Deluxe Footpeg Kit – KXA00030

Give your compatible Royal Enfield 350 a larger, rubber-damped foot-support surface with the genuine Royal Enfield KXA00030 Silver Deluxe Footpeg Kit. The left-hand and right-hand pegs are forged from aluminium and use black rubber inserts with Royal Enfield's bayonet-style mounting design to help isolate vibration at the feet.

The larger footprint is intended to make everyday riding and longer journeys more comfortable while retaining a clean factory-accessory appearance. The silver peg bodies and black rubber inserts suit motorcycles where a bright metal accent is preferred over the black KXA00031 version.

Important quantity note: this package contains one left-hand peg and one right-hand peg, plus two feeler pegs. The pair can be installed at the rider position or the pillion position. It does not equip both positions at the same time; purchase two kits if you want deluxe footpegs for both rider and pillion.

Confirmed Compatibility

Royal Enfield Motorcycle Compatibility Fitment Note
Meteor 350 Confirmed Official KXA00030 application; pair may be fitted at rider or pillion position
Classic 350 Confirmed Current J-platform / Reborn Classic 350; not the older UCE Classic
All-New Bullet 350 Confirmed Current J-platform Bullet 350; not the older UCE Bullet
Goan Classic 350 Confirmed Official current application; confirm model identity before installation

Compatibility is based on Royal Enfield's current product page and fitting instruction T5000113 Issue A. Model names, platform generation and part number must all match before installation.

Not Compatible / Do Not Assume Fitment

  • Older UCE Classic 350, Classic 500, Bullet 350, Bullet 500, Electra or Thunderbird models
  • Hunter 350 / HNTR 350
  • Himalayan 411, Himalayan 450, Scram 411, Scram 440 or Guerrilla 450
  • Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, Bear 650, Classic 650 or other 650 models
  • Any non-Royal Enfield motorcycle
  • Any motorcycle with modified, welded, bent, damaged or non-standard footrest brackets

Do not order by engine capacity, appearance or peg-pin diameter alone. The bracket width, clevis geometry, spring arrangement, detent mechanism and folding clearance must match the approved motorcycle.

Choose Rider or Pillion Position

Installation Choice What One KXA00030 Kit Covers Important Detail
Rider / front position Left and right rider footpegs Reuse the original clevis pins, circlips and return springs; fit the supplied feeler pegs
Pillion / rear position Left and right pillion footpegs Follow the same basic replacement method, but the rider-style return spring is not used
Rider and pillion positions Not covered by one kit Two complete kits are required to equip all four footpeg positions

Rider versus pillion is an installation choice, not a different left/right set. Always fit both pegs from the pair at the same position.

What You Will Receive

Kit Component Quantity
Deluxe Footpeg, left-hand 1
Deluxe Footpeg, right-hand 1
Footpeg feeler peg 2

Total supplied footpegs: 2. Royal Enfield's fitting instruction lists no new clevis pins, circlips, return springs, detent balls or detent springs in the package.

Original Parts Reused / Not Included

  • Original footrest clevis pins are removed and reused
  • Original rider-footrest circlips are removed and reused
  • Original rider-footrest return springs are removed and reused for rider-position installation
  • For pillion installation, the original detent balls and springs are retained if the motorcycle may later be returned to standard
  • Replacement clevis pins, replacement circlips, grease, tools and workshop consumables are not listed as supplied
  • Motorcycle, mounting brackets and installation labour are not included

Inspect all original retaining parts before reuse. A worn, bent, corroded or damaged safety-critical retaining component should be replaced with the correct genuine part before the motorcycle is ridden.

Comfort and Use Note

The larger platform gives the boot more area to rest on, and the rubber inserts are designed to reduce the vibration reaching the feet. Actual comfort and perceived vibration vary with footwear, riding position, road surface, engine speed, motorcycle condition and whether the pegs are fitted for the rider or pillion.

  • This kit does not change the motorcycle's seat, handlebar, suspension or overall riding geometry.
  • No claim is made that the pegs eliminate all vibration, fatigue or foot movement.
  • Keep rubber inserts clean and inspect them periodically for looseness, wear, cuts or deterioration.
  • Do not use a peg that is cracked, bent, loose, missing a retainer or unable to fold and return correctly.
  • Footpegs are not lifting points, tie-down anchors or crash-protection components.

Installation Note

Royal Enfield lists an approximate 15-minute fitting time. Because the work involves folding footrests, return springs, circlips and rider contact points, installation by an authorised Royal Enfield workshop or qualified motorcycle technician is recommended.

  1. Support the motorcycle securely on level ground and confirm the exact KXA00030 kit and motorcycle model.
  2. Work on one side at a time so the opposite standard assembly remains available as an orientation reference.
  3. Wear eye protection and use external circlip pliers; the circlip can eject when removed.
  4. Remove and retain the original circlip, then hold the footrest and withdraw the original clevis pin.
  5. For rider installation, remove and retain the original return spring for reuse.
  6. Fit each supplied feeler peg to its Deluxe Footpeg and tighten the feeler peg to 12 Nm using a 14 mm socket and torque wrench.
  7. For the right rider peg, position the original return spring in the Deluxe Footpeg as shown in the current instruction.
  8. Align the peg with the clevis, locate the straight end of the spring in the clevis spring hole and refit the original clevis pin.
  9. Refit the original circlip fully into the clevis-pin groove; Royal Enfield notes that grease may be applied to the circlip to help avoid rusting.
  10. Repeat the approved procedure for the left side and verify correct folding, return action and retention.
  11. For pillion installation, retain the original detent ball and spring if the motorcycle may later be returned to standard; the rider return-spring step is omitted.
  12. Before riding, confirm both pegs are secure, move freely through their intended range and do not interfere with controls, exhaust or nearby components.

Always follow the latest Royal Enfield instruction supplied with the kit. If any original component is damaged, missing or does not match the documented arrangement, stop the installation and consult an authorised Royal Enfield dealer.

Care and Inspection

  • Clean the aluminium and rubber surfaces with mild automotive shampoo, water and a soft cloth.
  • Avoid abrasive pads, metal polish on rubber, harsh solvents and petroleum-based products that may damage the inserts.
  • Remove mud, road salt, fuel, brake fluid and chemical contamination promptly.
  • Check the feeler pegs, clevis pins, circlips, folding movement and rubber inserts at routine service intervals.
  • Reinspect the installation after the first ride and after any impact, fall or unusual footrest movement.
  • Do not ride until a loose, damaged, excessively worn or incorrectly retained footpeg has been corrected.

Fitment Note / Return Prevention

Before opening or fitting, confirm all four points: part number KXA00030, silver colour, a current compatible 350 model and the intended rider-or-pillion installation position. Classic and Bullet names have been used across more than one Royal Enfield platform; this listing is not for older UCE motorcycles.

One package supplies two footpegs, not four. It completes one left/right position only. Ordering one kit when the intention is to replace both rider and pillion pegs is a quantity-selection issue, not a missing-parts claim.

Footpegs are installation-sensitive products. Parts showing circlip or clevis marks, scratches, tool marks, damaged rubber, road use, modification, missing contents or attempted installation on an incompatible motorcycle may not qualify for return, subject to applicable law and the current store policy.

Record one continuous unboxing video showing the sealed parcel, shipping label, Royal Enfield part-number label, left peg, right peg and both feeler pegs. Report a wrong, missing or transit-damaged item within 24 hours with the video and original packaging.
