This is the officially listed Royal Enfield 148545/D – BRACKET, TAIL LAMP, BLACK. The GT 650 rear-fender fiche shows 148545/C and says “replacement part number: 148545/D”, and the same type of bracket is sold for both Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 on aftermarket dealer pages, so we can safely confirm it for those two 650 twins. Earlier suffixes 148545/B and 148545/C roll up to this /D version, so you can fulfil any of those older invoices with this bracket. 

This black bracket bolts to the rear mudguard and gives the tail light unit the correct mounting plane and spacing. If the bike toppled over, the tail light sat crooked, or someone fitted an LED tail and later returned to stock, this is the OE piece that straightens everything again. Because it’s genuine RE, the hole spacing matches the INT/GT 650 mudguard and the tail-lamp rubber (148209/D), so you don’t need to drill new holes. Just bolt it up, fit the lamp, plug in the 148483/C harness, and the rear end looks factory again.
